Native Killarney artist Danny Lyne grew up on the shores of Muckross Lake in the heart of the National Park. Being exposed to the beauty of this area from such a young age, had a deep impact on him, and it continues to be the source of inspiration for his work. The subtleties of the varying light and changing seasons, impressed upon the textures of the natural world are the main subject of his oil paintings.
